- Oversee and manage general ledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and monthly account closing to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Review and approve accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial reports prepared by junior team members.
- Ensure timely processing of supplier payments, operating expenses, and staff monthly claims while maintaining accurate financial records.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, variance analysis, and budget tracking to provide insights for management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
- Work closely with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and government authorities for reporting and regulatory matters.
- Assist in the development and improvement of accounting policies, processes, and internal controls.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior accounting staff to enhance team efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and operational efficiency.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior staff while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar role.
