QC Geophysicist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of geophysical data collected during field operations. This role involves overseeing data quality, conducting analyses, and preparing detailed reports to support geological assessments and decision-making processes. - Requirements: • Accumulated at least seven (7) years professional experience in their relevant profession, before engaging in consultancy work. • At least three (3) jobs in consultancy work with Oil and Gas companies with experience in HSSE supervision • Attended a HSSE Worksite Supervisory or Frontline Supervisory course or equivalent HSSE supervisory course. -Key Responsibilities: • Data Quality Control: Monitor and assess the quality of geophysical data acquired in the field, ensuring it meets established standards and specifications. • Data Interpretation: Analyze geophysical data to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends that inform geological evaluations. • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive survey reports detailing findings, methodologies, and recommendations for stakeholders. • Field Operations Support: Provide on-site support during field activities, offering guidance on data collection techniques and troubleshooting issues as they arise. - Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Geoscience, Physics, or a related field. • Proficiency in geophysical data processing software and tools. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
