Quality Engineer [ PTP Gelang Patah, Johor ]

Position: Quality Engineer Location: Port Tanjung Pelepas, Gelang Patah, Johor Job scope: A. Incoming & supplier quality management (% of time = 90%) • Inbound-Outbound goods quality control. Perform inspection effectively as per quality assurance plan to ensure conform to standard and requirements. • Manage non conformance products and non quality failure, timely disposition and closed loop follow up actions. • Conduct product quality training to warehouse to ensure the fundamental quality plan is established, well understood and executed by warehouse team. • Prevent the occurrence of quality defects in advance, and no limited to quality improvement activities. • Monitor and analyze products performance to identify areas of improvement. Collect and evaluate supplier quality data to identify area of improvement, collaborate with internal team for alignment of interest within business activities. • Conduct supplier quality management, supplier audit, root cause analysis, product audit, 8D and necessary corrective action for improvement by using systematic approaches • Establish quality standard if necessary for new launching products and special control products. B. Others (% of time = 10%) • Support in conduct process and system audit in accordance to internal audit requirements. • Monitor and cordinate on relavant equipment calibration matter (if any) • Provide support in case of customer claim • Share best practice to ensure highest level of product quality • Support in QMS document control • Any other task as required by superior.
