Product Application Engineer (Vision Buyoff)

• Perform machine vision buyoff in factory and on-site with customer within schedule and meet the quality and requirement • Technical machine buyoff report preparation • Work closely with vision development team for complex issue investigation and solution implementation • Provide technical training and application support to worldwide customer on machine vision products • Provide machine vision support and troubleshooting for worldwide customer • Conduct quality issue investigation and working closely with vision development team for solution implementation • Troubleshoot vision equipment failures and diagnose the faulty operation • Perform vision evaluation for new application and customer requirement • Conduct vision hardware or software evaluation and prepare technical evaluation report accordingly • On call or onsite support during off days if situation needed • Prepare and update user manual and troubleshooting guidelines • Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on time full closure Job Requirements: • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic/ Computer/ Physics) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, willing to learn and work hard • Experience and knowledge in vision system, Image Processing and Optics is an added advantage • Possess teamwork spirit, strong oral, written and interpersonal skills • Good and positive work attitude, initiative, self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team • Tidy, organized and detail oriented • Hardworking, responsible and able to work overtime or shifts when required • Flexibility to work during weekend or off day when required • Flexibility to travel within short notice period, as per required by Superior • Good MS Excel, Power Point, Word proficiency • Good communication and presentation skills • Good English proficiency • Fresh graduates with passion and excellent academic results are encouraged to apply
