Data Annotator (Indonesian Speaker)

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Indonesian-speaking Data Annotator to join our team and support the market. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, labeling, and categorizing data to ensure high-quality inputs for AI and machine learning models, playing a crucial role in enhancing AI-driven technologies. The ideal candidate must possess strong language proficiency in Indonesian and English, along with a deep understanding of Indonesian culture, language nuances, and contextual accuracy to ensure precise annotations. Key Responsibilities: Review and annotate data, images, and content in Indonesian according to client guidelines and policies. Conduct thorough research, analysis, and decision-making to ensure high-quality data classification and annotation. Utilize logical reasoning and problem-solving skills to resolve annotation challenges efficiently. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively independently with minimal supervision. Identify, escalate, and troubleshoot potential issues in data processing and workflow. Ensure compliance with defined policies and procedures while making annotation decisions. Proactively identify workflow improvements and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency. Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to maintain annotation accuracy. Meet and maintain quality standards for all relevant performance metrics. Provide clear and well-documented feedback on data quality and inconsistencies. Skills & Requirements: Fluent in Indonesian (both written and spoken) and English (minimum B2 level). Strong understanding of Indonesian culture, language context, and regional nuances to ensure precise data annotation. Excellent comprehension and content writing skills in Indonesian and English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience in content writing, annotation, labeling, transcribing, or data processing is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and logical reasoning skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity. Adaptability to rotational shifts and the ability to thrive under pressure. Degree in any field (preferred but not mandatory). Preferred Experience: Background in content writing, creative writing, captioning, editing, or proofreading. Experience in digital content moderation, annotation, or linguistic data analysis. Previous work in AI training data, localization, or quality assurance is an advantage.
