A Sales Interior Designer is responsible for designing interior spaces while actively engaging in sales to convert leads into customers. This role blends creativity with business acumen, requiring strong design skills alongside the ability to market and sell interior design solutions. Key Responsibilities - Meet with clients to discuss their design preferences, needs, and budget. - Taking accurate as-built measurements for developing floor plans and elevations. - Develop and present interior design concepts, mood boards, and 3D visualizations. - Provide advice on furniture, materials, colors, and layouts. - Generate leads, follow up with prospects, and close sales deals. - Prepare and present project proposals, quotations, and contracts. - Collaborate with contractors, and suppliers to ensure project execution. - Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and innovations. - Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Requirements - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred). - Experience: 2+ years in interior design and/or sales. Skills: - Strong knowledge of interior design principles and trends. - Excellent communication and sales skills. - Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop). - Ability to create persuasive presentations. - Customer-centric approach and problem-solving ability. - Time management and multitasking skills. - Specialize in carpentry (preferred) Job Type : Full-time, Commission Contract length : 6 months Salary : RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 (not including Commission) Schedule: - Monday to Friday / flexible hours - On call - Weekend jobs Experience: - Interior Designer : 2 years (Required) - Sales : 1 year (Required) Benefits: - Commission License : Valid vehicle license (Required)
