POSITION : MIG WELDER FABRICATOR SPECIALIST • Performing high-quality welding and fabrication tasks, ensuring structural integrity, precision, and compliance with project specifications. • Perform MIG welding on various materials, including steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, according to project specifications. • Cut, shape, and prepare materials for welding using tools such as saws, grinders, and plasma cutters. • Assemble metal parts and structures based on blueprints, sketches. • Create custom metal components and structures to meet client or project requirements. • Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accuracy during fabrication. • Use measuring tools to mark and layout materials for precise cutting and assembly. • Inspect completed welds for strength, uniformity, and adherence to quality standards and specifications. • Perform tests on welded materials and make adjustments to welding techniques or equipment settings as needed. • Set up and operate MIG welding machines, ensuring proper settings for material type and thickness. • Maintain and repair welding tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. • Conduct routine checks on welding equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards. Required Skills: The required skills for the position MIG WELDER FABRICATOR SPECIALIST are as follow: • Minimum 5 - 10 years’ experience in mig welding and troubleshooting is necessary. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Adhere to safety and quality policies. • Effective problem-solving abilities. • Keep maintenance data and report on daily activities. • Candidate must possess relevant education certification. • Must have knowledge in GD&T.
