CNC Programmer

1) Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job. 2) Cleaning and maintaining the machine. 3) Training new staff on machine operation procedures. 4) Adjusting and setting drills, mills, and lathes to ensure 100 percent accuracy 5) Using knowledge of safety standards to avoid workplace accidents 6) Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut. 7) Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests. 8) Determines sequence of operations in a program. 9) Chooses cutting tools that will be needed. 10) Analyzes job order and performs necessary calculations. 11) Makes improvements to set up times for a task and contouring of complex shapes. 12) Simplifies tooling time for workers and increases productivity for the client. 13) Complies with all safety rules and regulations. 14) Prepare cutter master list and check cutter availability at tool room 15) Prepare cutting tools path with estimate cycle time 16) Recommend suitable clamping device for machining process. 17) Monitor and trouble shoot 1st test cut program until complete part buy off 18) Monitor & record actual machining cycle time and compare CAM Simulation time 19) Continue improve CNC program quality and cycle time 20) Prepare process drawing 21) Register proven program in system and master list 22) Provide special/custom made cutter drawing to cutter maker 23) Perform and maintain 5s proper housekeeping at workplace and surrounding area. 24) Maintain the cleanliness according to company 5S Policy. 25) Adhere to all application Occupational Safety and Health laws and regulation as will as such standards, practices and procedures instituted by the Company 26) Any other responsibility which may be assigned from time to time by immediate superior/department head. 27) Fabricate / produce the parts based on drawing and to confirm all dimensions on first piece before mass production 28) Inspection of parts to ensure conformance to specification / drawing 29) Filling up of production related records 30) Retrieve / create MasterCAM drawing and set MasterCAM program 31) To work closely with the production team to increase productivity and to save production cost 32) Rectify problem and reduce waste in production 33) Generate CNC Programme and put the programme to designated Machine. 34) Work according to production plan and maintain operation efficiency. 35) Carry out in process measurements, maintain product quality. 36) Monitor process/machines and troubleshoot/report any deviations to respective personnel. 37) Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions. 38) To lead a team of machinist, operators & technician to achieve daily production output efficiency. 39) Monitor machine utilization and coordinate with Program Department on job loading and machine planning. 40) Operates Milling machines, flexible manufacturing system, Deburring station, with timely delivery of machined products in required quality and at reasonable cost level. 41) Actively participate in continuous improvement process and maintain 5S at work environment to increase the productivity and maintain safety 42) Timely perform maintenance and calibration on machines, equipment, gauges, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures according to schedule; including control properties of cutting fluids (ph value, concentration etc.) 43) Properly setup and handle Milling machines, cutting tools, jigs/fixture and parts with correct program and parameters for Milling machining, deburring and gauging processes.
