We are looking for a dynamic and creative person to join our team. - Tooling technician specializes in the tooling servicing in AEM, responsible for tooling preparation and tooling maintenance. Record the daily work tooling activity and tooling buy-off condition. Carry out 6S activities to ensure a clean area at Tooling Library and no accident happens in workplace. You will play an important role in:- 1. Service tooling after production down mold not more than 3 days. 2. Checking all cavities and insert must be in good condition, ensure cleaning rubber stuck at insert area and record tooling condition into tooling servicing checklist. 3. De-flash the last shot sample and pass to QC. 4. To complete the tooling work order and standby as per requested by production. 5. Internal repair for the minor issue such as guide bush, guide pin, polish, screw broken and change insert. 6. Tooling send out preparation and ensure all inserts must be packed properly with plastic wrap, paper layer, and place into box. 7. Marking the issue/problem at insert if necessary and must have cavity marking. 8. Clean oil in the machine area every 2 weeks, Gotong Royong every Thursday at 5.00pm and mop the tooling floor every 2 weeks. 9. Record daily work tooling activity, updating mold tracker and capturing tooling photos. 10. Updating spare part usage and stock take. 11. Updating the tooling shot life record into the tooling server. 12. To support FA tooling buy-off activities such as mold testing and troubleshooting of mold related issues. 13. Maintain a systematic filing of all tooling related documents e.g. tooling service check list and DO. 14. CMM measurement for tooling buy-off. (If necessary) 15. Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or Manager. To be successful in this role, you will need to have:- 1. Min 2 years of experience in the tooling/machine handling or rubber industry. 2. Diploma/SPM and above 3. Technical a. Able to read and understand technical drawing. b. Knowledge of 2D and 3D software such as Solidworks and AutoCAD is preferred. c. Able to operate CMM machine and write dimensional reports is preferred. 4. Non-Technical a. Able to use computer and basic Microsoft Office. b. Good technical problem-solving ability. c. Able to manage multiple priorities. d. Good communication skills.
