Job Responsibilities:
- Design Consultation: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and design preferences for custom furniture and cabinetry projects.
- Product Knowledge: Provide expert advice on design options, materials, finishes, and layouts for various projects, including kitchens, wardrobes, living rooms, and office spaces.
- Sales and Client Relations: Drive sales by building relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their requirements, and delivering tailored design solutions.
- Prepare Proposals and Quotes: Create detailed design proposals, including pricing, materials, and timelines, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Collaborate with Production Teams: Work with the production and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are translated accurately and efficiently into finished products.
- Project Management: Oversee the progress of projects from design concept to installation, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
- Attend Trade Shows and Events: Represent the company at industry events, showcasing our design solutions and expanding our network of potential clients.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of [2] years of experience in sales and design within the furniture or cabinetry industry.
- Education: Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Furniture Design, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering tools, etc.).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret customer needs and turn them into design solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with materials, finishes, and current design trends in the furniture and cabinetry industry.
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous design projects (preferred but not required).
