Job Summary:

The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing and executing procurement activities, including sourcing, tendering, vendor management, and contract negotiation. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with at least three (3) years of procurement experience and a strong understanding of procurement policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

A Procurement Executive plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the procurement process to ensure the organization acquires goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively. Below are the key responsibilities:

1. Procurement Process Management

  • Execute end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier evaluation.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) timely
  • Undertake any other assignment/s as and when required by the superior.

2. Tendering & Vendor Management

  • Assist in the preparation and management of tendering, quotation, and consultancy processes.
  • Evaluate supplier bids, proposals, and quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and ensure quality standards are met.

3. Cost Control & Budgeting

  • Monitor procurement expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure budget compliance and accurate financial reporting.
  • Analyze and benchmarking to identify better procurement strategies that worth of money.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain proper records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements.
  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct due diligence on suppliers to mitigate risks related to fraud or non-compliance.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Communicate with relevant departments to align procurement activities with business objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of procurement policies, tendering processes, and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in handling government or corporate procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,438.17 - RM4,519.69 per month
