Procurement Executive
Job Summary:
The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing and executing procurement activities, including sourcing, tendering, vendor management, and contract negotiation. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with at least three (3) years of procurement experience and a strong understanding of procurement policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
A Procurement Executive plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the procurement process to ensure the organization acquires goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively. Below are the key responsibilities:
1. Procurement Process Management
- Execute end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier evaluation.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) timely
- Undertake any other assignment/s as and when required by the superior.
2. Tendering & Vendor Management
- Assist in the preparation and management of tendering, quotation, and consultancy processes.
- Evaluate supplier bids, proposals, and quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and ensure quality standards are met.
3. Cost Control & Budgeting
- Monitor procurement expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure budget compliance and accurate financial reporting.
- Analyze and benchmarking to identify better procurement strategies that worth of money.
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain proper records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Conduct due diligence on suppliers to mitigate risks related to fraud or non-compliance.
5. Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Communicate with relevant departments to align procurement activities with business objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of procurement policies, tendering processes, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in handling government or corporate procurement processes.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance standards.

Pay: RM1,438.17 - RM4,519.69 per month
