Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the HIS users, HIS vendor & IT support team to provide support services and technical advice so as to ensure continuity, accessibility and availability of the HIS system.
- Provide hands-on first level troubleshooting and support on HIS application, database and interfaces.
- Provide troubleshooting and recovery or all applications installed in the facility through detailed investigation, analysis and liaison with the respective application vendors for resolution.
- Analyse the trends of issue logs to provide insights on the health of the HIS system. If negative trends are observed, to provide possible recommendations on ways to correct it.
- Perform installation, configuration, migration and upgrading tasks of the HIS application.
- Liaise with end users on new requirements and enhancements. Ensure that new requirements are in line with best practices. Analyze and translate business requirements into system design and specifications.
- Prepare, maintain and update requirements, specifications and business process documentations.
- Interact with external project teams on system interface requirements and system integration plans.
- Develop user acceptance testing documentation and perform testing of new changes in the test environment prior to deploying into production.
- Conduct and coordinate use acceptance, performance stress, regression and integration testing.
- Ensure Assunta IT helpdesk is updated for every issue and the assigned case ticket(s) is completed in a timely manner and with high level of quality.
- Adhere to Assunta Policy & Procedure (P&P).
- Provide regular feedback/updates on IT concern(s) or issue(s) to the Head of IT.
- Must be able to assist in any ad-hoc hospital IT support tasks or IT related responsibilities assigned by the Head of IT or by the Management.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science Information Technology, Computer Studies or equivalent.
- 3 years' experience in IT end-user support, and strong business requirements gathering, analysis and documentation skills and application support.
- Knowledge of project management & MySQL.
- Reliable and possess positive attitude, excellent people skills and able to work in a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
