Job description
The Assistant Director provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Director by managing personal and professional matters, overseeing logistics, ensuring smooth operation flow, and assisting with global import and export regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Personal and Administrative Support:
- Manage the Director’s schedule, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Handle confidential personal and professional matters efficiently.
- Organize and maintain important documents, reports, and records.
2. Logistics and Coordination:
- Oversee and manage local and international logistics arrangements.
- Coordinate transportation, shipments, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective logistics operations.
3. Documentation and Paperwork Management:
- Prepare and review reports, contracts, and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist in drafting and processing official documents.
4. Operations Oversight:
- Monitor and improve operational workflows and business processes.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges efficiently.
5. Import and Export Compliance:
- Assist in managing global import and export regulations and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws and customs requirements.
- Liaise with government agencies and suppliers to facilitate smooth transactions.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
1. Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in executive assistance, operations, or logistics management.
- Prior experience in international trade or import/export processes is an advantage.
3. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and documentation tools.
- Knowledge of logistics management systems and international trade regulations.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
4. Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Strong discretion and confidentiality in handling personal matters.
- Can speak, write, and read MANDARIN.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
