  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Overview:

A Restaurant Cashier is responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service. They ensure the accurate handling of transactions and maintain a clean and organized cash register area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
  • Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries.
  • Take customer orders accurately and input them into the system.
  • Provide menu information and suggest specials or promotions.
  • Address customer concerns or issues politely and efficiently.
  • Cash Handling:
  • Process customer payments via cash, credit/debit cards, or mobile payment methods.
  • Issue receipts, change, and process refunds or exchanges if needed.
  • Ensure accurate cash drawer management and balance at the end of the shift.
  • Order Management:
  • Confirm orders with customers and communicate any special requests or modifications.
  • Relay orders to the kitchen or bar staff efficiently.
  • Ensure food and drinks are prepared correctly before handing them over to customers.
  • Point of Sale (POS) System:
  • Operate the POS system to accurately record transactions and process payments.
  • Keep track of sales and refunds for accurate reporting.
  • Cleanliness and Organization:
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area, including the cashier station and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure all supplies (receipts, change, etc.) are stocked and ready.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with kitchen staff, and managers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with any other tasks as requested by the restaurant manager or supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and cash register operation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,600.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
