About the role

As a Swim Teacher at BLU Swim School in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming instruction to students of all ages and abilities. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to share your passion for swimming and help develop the next generation of confident swimmers.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing expert swimming lessons and tailored instruction to students, from beginners to advanced swimmers
  • Designing and implementing engaging, progressive lesson plans to help students achieve their swimming goals
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students in your care, adhering to safety protocols and pool guidelines
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and communicating effectively with parents and guardians
  • Collaborating with the BLU Swim School team to continuously improve the quality of the swimming programme
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering engaging and effective swimming lessons to a range of age groups and skill levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and their families
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Enthusiasm for working as part of a team and a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
  • Kindergarten teachers who possess early childhood background will be an advantage
  • Able to converse in Mandarin will be an advantage
