The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for the company. Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services in accordance with company needs, budget constraints, and project timelines.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery time, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Maintain and manage relationships with existing suppliers and establish new supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and track procurement activities to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, logistics, and production) to ensure procurement aligns with project or operational needs.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and product innovations.
- Review and approve supplier invoices, ensuring they match purchase orders and delivery receipts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
- Provide regular procurement reports to management, including cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain supplier database.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and make sound purchasing decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Proactive, with a focus on delivering results and improving procurement processes.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
