Project Manager (Development)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of development projects, from initiation to completion. This role involves strategic planning, budgeting, and supervising construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of development projects, ensuring they align with company goals and project requirements.
  • Manage and guide the project team, including Assistant Project Managers, by clearly defining project scope, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings with stakeholders to review project status and resolve any challenges.
  • Ensure all site activities comply with company standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants during design and planning phases to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Liaise with government authorities to obtain necessary approvals for project commencement and completion.
  • Oversee feasibility studies, tendering, contract administration, and construction methodologies to ensure project viability and success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, contractors, and consultants to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence in project management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (advanced qualifications are a plus).
  • 8-10 years of project management experience in the property development or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of the property development market, local business environment, and government regulations.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
  • Hands-on experience in project planning, execution, and risk management within the property development sector.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong accountability and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-related software (e.g., MS Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
