What you’ll do:

Chief Technology Office is a global team of over 6,000 colleagues working across more than 45 markets. We are the technical foundation of HSBC and manage the bank’s underlying hardware and systems.

Our infrastructure estate spans data centres, databases, middleware, internal cloud and end user technologies and devices. We also manage the networks our colleagues use every day and operate the help desks that provide them with IT support. We are here to enable our colleagues to work – and our customers to bank – in a stable, safe and secure way.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • Manage End user support, provisioning, technology and delivery activities.
  • Lead asset management – Tracking, coordination and reporting including asset impairment.
  • Proactively lead team members to improve service level/quality.
  • Lead and coordinate project activities within support scope.
  • Lead Business Continuity Plan (BCP) setup and support activities.
  • Implement control processes, support audit actions and coordinate to implement remediations.
  • Manage reporting on a given engagement.
  • Vendor management.
  • Review/challenge existing processes for continues improvement, document changes with effective communication.
  • Manage stakeholders.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Diploma/Degree in IT or related field.
  • At least 8-10years working experience in IT services/support environment.
  • Strong knowledge/experience in IT hardware, software, application and Technology support.
  • Strong knowledge/experience in project management, particularly in planning, organizing, prioritization and scheduling.
  • Effectively manage vendor deliverables, Service Level Agreement (SLA) and resources.
  • Good knowledge on Audit, risk, governance and control processes.
  • Ability to propose and implement cost effective solutions.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Committed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Must be able to work independently, effectively multitask and methodical.
  • Adopt ITIL practices and Agile Methodology.
