  • To plan and organize promotional, business, customer, and social events, overseeing the entire process from the initial planning stage through to execution and post-event evaluation.
  • Supporting local campaigns by adapting marketing content to meet regional needs.
  • Cross department collaborate with MARCOM, Business Units (BUs), and Sales departments to implement the defined marketing strategy through events and campaigns, as well as promote the corporate message.
  • Planning: developing and carrying out marketing events according to the corporate strategic marketing plan.
  • Ensure all events and marketing campaigns are delivered on time and within budget, measure and report on their effectiveness.
  • Ability to negotiate quotes and agreements with vendors, sponsors, and partners for events.
  • Data enrichment: Maintain detailed customer profiles to define the target audience for marketing goals. Collaborate with sales to identify and fill gaps in key personas and develop strategies to acquire new personas and strengthen relationships with current customers.
  • Represent the region you support and communicate its priorities to the rest of the marketing department.
  • Partner Opportunities: evaluate 3rd party / partner demand generation opportunities. Build relationships with new and existing vendors and associations to drive market penetration.
  • Research: monitor competitor activities and industry trends.
  • ROI/Analysis: set goals and define metrics for each event, monitor event metrics, conduct post-event evaluations, analyze and report on results, and make recommendations for future optimizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ Years of Marketing experience
  • Hands-on experience prioritizing running multiple initiatives, campaigns, and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, who can work proactively to resolve issues and take ownership of tools and processes
  • Exemplary communication skills to ensure effective collaboration and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in evolving marketing programs based on performance data, feedback from sales, and understanding of the business.
  • Availability to travel abroad to the assigned regional area

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary
  • Performance bonus

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • marketing event planning: 5 years (Preferred)
