As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, access control devices, and related equipment. Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Setup: Assist with the installation of surveillance systems, including cameras, recording devices, and network infrastructure, ensuring proper setup and configuration.

Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on surveillance systems, including cameras, servers, and peripheral devices.

System Upgrades: Install and upgrade software and firmware on surveillance equipment, ensuring systems are up to date with the latest technology and security patches.

Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote support to clients, assisting with any technical issues or questions regarding the performance of surveillance systems.

Testing & Calibration: Conduct testing, calibration, and performance checks to ensure all components of the surveillance system function optimally.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service requests, repairs, and system configurations, and update asset management databases.

Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand system issues, provide guidance, and ensure all service needs are met.

Safety & Compliance: Follow safety protocols and ensure all surveillance systems comply with local regulations and industry standards.

Emergency Support: Provide timely response to emergency repairs or issues that may arise outside of regular maintenance schedules.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in electronics, IT, or security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control systems) are preferred.

Experience: 2+ years of experience working with surveillance systems, security technology, or related electrical/mechanical systems.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of CCTV, IP cameras, access control systems, and other security technologies.

Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Communication: Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical clients and provide exceptional customer service.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various environments (indoors/outdoors), and perform tasks that may involve climbing or working at heights.

Certifications: Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, CCTV Installation, or similar) are a plus.

Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with networking principles and basic IT systems for configuring surveillance systems.
