Key Responsibilities:
Operations and manpower allocation:
- Lead the retail operations and manpower allocation across Malaysia. Currently, 7 stores, we will expand to 30 stores across Malaysia by 2026.
- Operations: Setup SOP for smooth operations (opening/closings/timely update of pricing and promotions for different campaigns), monitor stock flow and weekly stock replenishment to prevent OOS situations in stores. Monthly stock take to ensure minimal pilferaging. Set up system with finance to ensure daily sales across shops are reconciled
- Manpower management: Onboarding and managing existing retail staff, weekly manpower allocation plannings and have proper replacement when staff falls sick/absent/on leave.
- Provide on-the-ground coaching and guidance to sales staff, ensuring they follow best practices for customer engagement and product sales.
- Motivate team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Retail Operations:
- Ensure that store operations run smoothly on a day-to-day basis, supporting the team in areas such as stock management, visual merchandising, and product displays.
- Monitor product stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure availability of products.
- Assist in ensuring the correct implementation of promotions, price changes, and merchandising guidelines in the retail environment.
Sales and Customer Interaction:
- Support the team in maximizing sales by providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase sales and improve customer experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, escalating issues to the Retail Sales Supervisor when necessary.
Product Knowledge and Training:
- Ensure all sales staff are well-versed in product knowledge and promotional activities.
- Assist in conducting product training sessions for new and existing staff, ensuring that the team is knowledgeable about the company’s products.
- Provide feedback to the Retail Sales Supervisor on areas where additional training or support may be required.
Retail Compliance and Standards:
- Help ensure that the retail environment adheres to company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards.
- Support with store cleanliness, safety, and operational procedures to ensure a positive and professional atmosphere for both customers and staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- At least 2 - 3years of experience in retail sales or customer-facing roles, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Experience working with or managing a team in a fast-paced retail environment is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and support others to achieve sales goals.
- Good problem-solving abilities with a customer-first approach.
- Motivated, energetic, and results-oriented with a passion for sales and customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
