Key Responsibilities: OEM Business Strategy & Development: • Define, develop, and execute comprehensive OEM engagement strategies to drive long-term business growth. • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, analyzing demand trends in the metal fabrication industry. • Develop and negotiate complex contracts, including supply agreements, volume commitments, and pricing structures to ensure profitability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and procurement, to enhance product viability and manufacturability for OEM clients. • Conduct competitor benchmarking and technology assessment to differentiate the company’s capabilities within the industry. Technical Sales & Product Manufacturability: • Possess strong technical knowledge to assess and identify manufacturability challenges of OEM products. • Explain technical specifications to the design team and recommend necessary design adjustments for optimal production. • Provide guidance to clients on cost-effective production methods while ensuring design integrity and performance requirements are met. • Work closely with design and production engineers to bridge the gap between technical feasibility and client expectations. • Ensure OEM sales engineers have the technical expertise required to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients. Project Management: • Lead cross-functional project teams through the full lifecycle of OEM partnerships, from concept to mass production. • Conduct risk assessments for raw material sourcing, manufacturing scalability, and regulatory compliance. Sales Team Management & KPI Achievement: • Lead and manage the OEM sales team, ensuring alignment with corporate sales strategies and targets. • Establish and monitor sales performance metrics, ensuring the team meets or exceeds company-defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). • Implement sales training programs to enhance technical knowledge, negotiation skills, and market intelligence among the team. • Drive revenue growth through strategic account management, pipeline development, and sales forecasting. • Foster a high-performance sales culture that emphasizes accountability, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. Client Relationship, International Business & Key Account Management: • Serve as the primary technical liaison between the company and OEM clients, addressing engineering challenges and ensuring alignment of technical specifications. • Provide detailed engineering consultation to clients on material selection, structural integrity, and manufacturing feasibility. • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for OEM satisfaction, product quality, and on-time delivery. • Spearhead cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining high performance and durability requirements. • Manage international clients by developing export business strategies, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations, and optimizing logistics for international shipments. • Build relationships with foreign distributors, trade partners, and regulatory agencies to expand the company’s global footprint. Monitor international market trends, tariffs, and supply chain disruptions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities in export business.
