Debug Manager

Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or a relevant field. Minimum 10 years of working experience in a related field. Experience in PCBA debugging, testing, and validation within relevant industries is an advantage. Strong competency in reading and understanding schematic diagrams and component datasheets. Proficiency in using Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, and various test protocols. Excellent leadership and people management skills to oversee the debug/test team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues. Knowledge of failure analysis, root cause investigation, and continuous improvement processes. Job Scope: Lead and manage the Debug/Test Engineering team to meet company objectives. Oversee the troubleshooting and debugging of PCBA defects, identifying issues such as shorts, opens, and component failures using diagnostic tools and methodologies. Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of debugging processes, findings, and corrective actions for internal reference and knowledge sharing. Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and quality teams to provide feedback for process improvements and defect reduction. Monitor and maintain test and debug equipment, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning optimally. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for debugging and testing. Analyze failure trends and recommend corrective actions to improve overall product quality and reliability. Provide technical training and mentorship to team members to enhance their debugging and testing capabilities.
