Position: Fund Accounting Analyst Industry: Banking Location: Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur Contract Duration: Until 14 August 2025 (with PERSOLKELLY) Salary: RM8,000 - RM12,000 (Based on experience) + Statutory Contribution + Leave Entitlement + Medical Coverage Job Summary: As a Fund Accounting Analyst, you will assist in: • Supporting fund valuation activities in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team • Assisting with the calculation of Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) for funds • Distributing associated unit prices Who Should Apply? • 0-2 years of relevant experience • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Background in accounting, finance, or business-related fields • Familiar with fund administration, change management, or project management • Project Management certification is a plus • Strong communication skills Job Summary:: The Fund Accounting Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participating in a variety of fund valuation activities in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the calculation of daily and periodic Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) for funds and the distribution of associated unit prices. Responsibilities: • Monitor work activities to ensure timeliness and accuracy of the funds activities in a department, including calculation of NAV and distribution factors • Assist in preparing financial statements, tax reporting, and regulatory filings • Serve as the Senior Checker for complex tasks • Review aging break items and breaks over a certain dollar threshold • Track delivery for the clients assigned • Assist the team manager in audit queries, client queries, and risk related items • Serve as backup to the team coordinator or manager • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
