- Improves manufacturing efficiency by studying and planning an effective production flow, availability of space and layout.
- To conduct trainings to Production Operators to ensure production efficiency and effectiveness.
- To monitor and ensure the production schedule is performed effectively.
- Identify unsafe operations and practices and report immediately to Top Management.
- Develop communication level and practices among Production Operators to ensure effectiveness.
- To identify and investigate production problems, analyse causes and problem solving and to carry out corrective action when necessary.
- Collect, analyse and summarise information for Management on production activities.
- Continuously review production documents for improvement & convert new recipe from R&D into new format.
- Plot a rough monthly production schedule based on sales analysis obtained from Account Department.
- Discuss daily production schedule draft prepared based on the monthly schedule plotted for any adjustment (if deemed necessary).
- Monitor finished goods movement and keep track of slow-moving items.
- Supervise & coordinate with Production Operators for tracking raw materials to assist Production Manager in managing raw material stock.
- Calculate total ingredients required for the whole week to meet production target and submit IT to Production Manager.
- Oversee & monitor the entire production process and advice for adjustment of schedules as needed to meet the demands of the customers to Production Manager.
- Liaise with R&D, account & warehouse to ensure production runs smoothly.
Minimum Diploma in Food/Beverage Technology, Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years or more work experiences in Food Manufacturing Industry.
- Ability to work and assist a team of Production Operator.
- Possess knowledge of implementing and maintaining high GMP/HACCP standards.
- Ability to assist the superior or manager in the production analysis data and reports.
- Ability to communicate to all levels of Management.
- Ability to assist the Production manager in terms of executing each production operatorâs responsibility.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Words, Excel and PowerPoint are required.
- Good Communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia & English are required.
- Ability to work on shift basis based on Production Department working schedule.
