The company is a leader in many overseas markets and is renowned worldwide. We are an established and progressive company that manufactures, markets, and distributes high-quality OTC and ethical pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To plan production schedule and organize workforce to produce the finished goods required
  2. To monitor/control the stock inventory in the plant, to ensure optimal stock level.
  3. To ensure that goods are produced within an agreed time frame and shipped promptly.
  4. To manage the production schedule to ensure optimum usage of manpower and equipment.
  5. To ensure proper and tidy maintenance of the factory premises and machinery.
  6. To analyse requirements for machinery and raise Capex for purchase when necessary.
  7. To ensure follow up with custom official on : Duty draw backs & CJ exemption (sales tax)
  8. To ensure GMP standards are maintained in the factory and to liaise with DCA on regulatory matters.
  9. To ensure proper handling of documents transaction with bank and government office whenever necessary.
  10. To estimate direct material and labour costs for new products introduced.
  11. To monitor annual expenses to ensure plant operated within budget.
  12. To source for the best price of packaging materials which comply with specification.
  13. To audit other manufacturers/contract manufactures as and when requested.
  14. To assist purchasing department in sourcing new/alternate suppliers in Malaysia & negotiate for better terms with suppliers.
  15. To assist QC/purchasing departments to audit suppliers as part of GMP requirements.
  16. To initiate product recall when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Science or other relevant study
  • At least 15 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in leading cross functional teams and managing large headcounts
  • Experience in new plant commissioning and setup
  • Well verse in GMP requirements and familiar with audits.
