About you:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of our infrastructure observability products, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders at all levels, to define product requirements, prioritise features, and deliver high-quality solutions that drive technical excellence within the Access Group.


Day-to-day, you will:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data-related needs and requirements, conducting interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather and document business requirements.
  • Define and prioritise the product backlog based on strategic goals, key metrics and user feedback
  • Drive the agile development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
  • Coordinate the development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Monitor product performance and usage metrics, and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
  • Ensure that stakeholders are informed and prepared for changes in data systems or processes.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training/demo sessions for end-users on new processes or systems.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and competitive trends in infrastructure, and analytics.
As a Product Owner, your Skills and Experiences likely include:
  • Minimum 1 year's experience as a Product Owner, or 2-3 years as a Business Analyst looking to set up to Product Owner level.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and proficiency in capturing and managing requirements using ALM tools like ADO/Jira.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and think critically to propose effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI/Tableau) for reporting and visualization.
  • Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, and interviews to gather requirements and drive discussions.
  • Familiarity with modern application infrastructure/architecture would be a strong advantage
  • A basic understanding of graph databases would also be an advantage
