- Assist the Head Chef in developing and executing seasonal menus, including pastries, cakes, and breads.
- Prepare and bake high-quality pastries, desserts, and breads according to established recipes and standards.
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring proper training in techniques and safety practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on special events, themed menus, and customer requests.
- Participate in quality control, ensuring all products meet our high standards for taste and presentation.
- Assist in cost control and minimizing waste through efficient preparation techniques.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a pastry-focused environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen.
- Able to communicate in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong Pasty Making Skills.
- Understand food safety regulations.
- Strong Leadership Skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
