As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Payments Operations Executive to support our payments department in ensuring smooth and efficient payment processes. Role Overview
As a Payments Operations Executive, you will assist the Payments Manager in overseeing daily payment operations, onboarding new payment service providers (PSPs), monitoring transactions, and supporting compliance requirements. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals eager to develop expertise in payment processing within the financial industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. PSP Onboarding & Documentation
· Assist in onboarding new PSPs and Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs) by collecting and submitting necessary documentation.
· Coordinate with the compliance team to provide required information for PSP due diligence.
· Support in maintaining an organized record of payment provider agreements and documentation.
2. Transaction Monitoring & Reporting
· Review and analyze payment transactions on a weekly/monthly basis.
· Generate reports highlighting transaction trends, discrepancies, and potential issues.
· Escalate concerns or inconsistencies to the Payments Manager for resolution.
· Participate in weekly meetings with the Payments department to discuss performance and highlight operational insights.
3. System Support & Maintenance
· Monitor payment processing systems to ensure smooth operations.
· Assist in testing new payment features and updates under the direction of the Payments Manager.
4. Customer & Internal Support
· Respond to internal inquiries related to payments and provide necessary support to the customer service team.
· Help document common payment-related issues to improve troubleshooting processes.
5. Process Optimization
· Identify areas for improvement in payment workflows and suggest optimizations.
· Support the implementation of automation tools to streamline manual processes.
Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of financial tools.
· Familiarity with payment processing systems and workflows (preferred).
· Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience
· 6 months to 1 year of experience in a financial institution, forex brokerage in customer support, operations or payments-related role.
· Basic knowledge of the FX industry or similar financial settings.
