Job responsibilities:
- Promote General Insurance products through telemarketing to bank customers.
- Handle customer enquiries with confidence
- Correspond with customers through emails.
- Liaise with internal departments and GEGM on policy fulfillment.
- To achieve sales targets including cross-sell targets of all assigned general insurance products.
- To achieve daily KPI in term of sales target, call rate, etc.
- Ensure all leads assigned are completed by the stipulated timeline.
- Required to handle sales calls of products assigned, conversation call to salvage cancellation cases, and any telemarketing campaigns assigned.
- Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns/ risks and proactively share best risk management practices.
- Complete all the required product training and assessment.
- Ensure compliance with all OCBC and GEGM operating & regulatory guidelines, sales practice, sales dos & don’ts, code of ethics and conduct and bank’s internal policies.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in any field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 1-2 years(s) of experience in telesales, General Insurance industry would have an added advantage.
- Good commands of both spoken and written English and Mandarin. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage for Mandarin-speaking customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and phone skills, persuasiveness, patience, persistence, and keyboarding skills
- Aggressive, self-motivated, responsible, and have sense of urgency.
- Well organized and systematic in work.
- Keen to learn and have a positive work attitude.
- High level of integrity, take accountability of work and good attitude towards teamwork.
