Title: Cyber Security Engineer
Location: Kuala Lumpur ,
Type: Fulltime/Permanent
Responsibilities
- Under general direction, monitors alerts raised by SOC team and respond to security threats
- Investigate anomalous activity, follow up with appropriate parties and report on findings.
- Develop, review, maintain enforces cyber security related policies and procedures.
- Performs general administration/maintenance of the security technologies and tools employed at SCS
- Interpret and disseminates security related information as needed, develop and maintain Cyber security Awareness Training Program
- Review internal, external, and regulatory recommendations and follow up to ensure company adaption.
- Performs vulnerability assessment.
- Participates in incidents responses and forensic investigation activities.
- Perform regulatory compliance support
- Assists all personal to resolve cyber-security related problem.
- Perform general administration/maintenance of the security technologies employed at SCS, including setting up, troubleshooting and assisting End User.
- Help perform audit and regulatory reviews through documentation gathering.
- Interpret and disseminate security-related information as needed.
- Review internal, external, and regulatory recommendation and follow up to ensure company adaption.
- Perform day to day task as it relates to information Security.
Preferred.
- 2 years total of working experience
- Strong understanding of system security concepts and practice; good understanding of networking technology.
- Some network and security troubleshooting experience.
- Experience collaborating with multiple departments.
- One or more security related certification such as Security+, Networks+, CCNA
- Knowledge of regulation and cyber security best practices including the NIST Cyber-Security framework and ISO27001
- Familiar with Microsoft Business Products (Intune and Exchange)
