A. Assigned to assist the association’s Exco & secretariat team on day-to-day duties as well as ad hoc projects.
B. Responsibilities
1. Support with communication with Association Excos as well as various external stakeholders.
2. Communicate with Association Excos & external parties to coordinate schedules
3. Prepare essential documentation, including memos, reports, and other forms of communication.
4. Support the membership recruitments and internal and external communications, as well as its various initiatives.
5. Support the organization of events, both logistically and in terms of content.
6. Act as the organizational receptionist and receive calls and emails.
7. Answer and respond to organization emails and phone calls, and forward communications to appropriate parties as necessary.
8. Maintains and organizes meeting schedules.
9. Regularly check and maintain member database.
10. To manage MyIoTA’s social media – Website, Linkedin and Facebook etc.
D. Qualifications
1. Associate's degree in office administration may be preferred.
2. Familiar & Be computer literate in standard software applications/ productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Knowledge of email systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Gmail, online meeting tools (Microsoft Team, Zoom, GoogleMeet, Webex etc.).
4. Strong communication skills.
5. The ability to work independently and seek help or assistance as needed
6. Self-motivated and highly organized.

1. Communication: Speaks and writes in a clear and effective manner. Listens to others, and appropriately reacts. Asks clarifying questions and expresses a desire in two-way communication.

English is the working language of the Malaysia Internet of Things (IoT) Association. Fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of other languages, such as Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, is an advantage.
