  • Establishing and updating department’s standard operating procedure, policy, framework and guidelines as and when required.
  • Providing and facilitating risk training/ awareness sessions and consistently engage with Risk Focal representatives of every department for regular risk identification, review and analyse identified risks across the Company.
  • Assist in identifying, consolidating and providing analysis on Company’s Key Risks and Key Risk Indicator (KRI).
  • Assist in performing risk oversight and review project risk profile and organizational performance.
  • Assist in presenting recommendations for improving risk strategies or the overall risk management programme to HODs for endorsement.
  • Managing and coordinating Business Continuity Management (BCM) implementation for Kuala Lumpur Head Office and Unit Offices.
  • Assist in preparing ERM and BCM reports/ power point presentation slides for Risk Management Committee (RMC), Board Audit Risk Committee (BARC) and Main Board on quarterly basis and/or Special Board.
  • Work closely with the Business Continuity Coordinators (BCCs) or department representatives to evaluate and rationalise the Business Continuity (BC) strategies and recommend to Management.
  • Coordinating BCM program and planned exercises and testing to keep the BCP effective based on the current level of risk and identify areas for continual improvement.
  • Maintain and sustain the BCM program to keep the current BCP effective based on the current level of risk.
  • Assist in execution of management approved strategies and decisions.
  • Preparing minutes of meeting for department on monthly basis and RMC Meeting on quarterly basis.
  • Perform other risk management unit task as and when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking, Economics, Business Studies/ Administration/ Law Management or equivalent. Relevant qualifications in Business Continuity Management (BCM) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Preferably have knowledge on risk management and business continuity standards, guidelines and best practices.
  • Analytical and innovative thinking abilities, and has the drive and perseverance to inculcate a sound risk management culture.
  • Good report writing skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good command of both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • PC literate in Microsoft Office.
