Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, forecasts, and statements to inform management decisions.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals.
- Monitor cash flow and optimise the company’s financial resources.
- Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Oversee daily operations of the finance department.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate risks and opportunities.
- Manage the preparation of all financial reports and maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide insights into business performance and industry trends.
- Represent the company in dealings with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and government agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree of higher in Finance, Accounting; or professional qualification (e.g. CFA/CPA/CIMA) is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial management and accounting, ideally in the private equity sector.
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager or in a similar role within the finance sector, ideally in the private equity sector.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to foster a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the finance industry.
- Extensive experience in financial forecasting and financial risk management.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
