Job Responsibilities

  • Identify training needs, design and develop learning & development programs and initiatives to support the business needs independently.
  • Deliver both online and offline training programs via different platforms and format.
  • Maintain and update contents of On-the-job Training Manual and various Training Materials
  • Manage the post learning evaluation and evaluate training effectiveness
  • Develop and co-ordinate the Industrial Internship and Management Trainee Programme
  • Assist in reviewing training policies and procedures regularly
  • Oversee the management of training logistics and activities such as, collecting nominations, printing of handouts, notes, room setup, preparing reports, training statistics, generating training evaluation results etc
  • Oversee Skill Connect (WSQ) administration including CIR Audits
  • Liaise with WSQ on various administration matters including the ensuring the prompt submission of participants’ information for funding purposes.
  • Oversee Learning Management System administration
  • Design & update training materials.
  • Support in implementing employee engagement initiatives through different channels, including but not limited to company culture & employee recognition programs, staff activities, internal communications
  • Produce a monthly newsletter to keep employees abreast of the recent and upcoming initiatives.
  • Source for external training providers to meet specified training requirements.
  • Perform ad hoc projects as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of L&D preferably from retail industries
  • Possess at least a bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent.
  • Passion in people development
  • Self-motivated, independent well organized and a good team player
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Bahasa
  • Digital and Tech Savvy
  • Frontline customers service, selling and operation experience will be an advantage
  • Ability to role up the sleeves to manage operational work
  • Comfortable working in a matrix and unstructured environment
  • Experience in working for regional scope
  • Understanding SEA level L&D Context
