Position title: Mechanical Completions Engineer (FPSO)
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Duration: 2-year renewal contract
Job Responsibilities:
Planning & Preparation
- Develop project deliverables as per client requirements.
- Prepare ITR portfolio, MC & Commissioning Handover documents, ITR assignment matrix, and work methodologies.
- Review and resolve tag registers and piping test pack issues with the engineering and QAQC teams.
- Populate and validate data in the Completion Management System (CMS) and issue ITRs to the execution team.
- Provide CMS training and support to the project team and subcontractors.
Execution
- Monitor and update changes in the project database, preparing weekly MC & Punch list reports.
- Oversee day-to-day ITR and Punch list updates in CMS, coordinating successful completion of supplier punch items.
- Manage punch walkdown packs and coordinate certificate sign-offs.
- Compile and archive project handover documents and ensure the completion of ITR reviews.
Coordination
- Collaborate with engineering, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve completion database issues and queries.
- Communicate with construction, QAQC, and commissioning teams to ensure the completion of ITRs according to project priorities.
- Apply lessons learned and best practices from past projects for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical Certificate.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in EPC of oil & gas or FPSO projects, with at least 2 FPSO projects completed.
- Proficient in CMS software (WinPCS/ICAPS/PIMS, etc.), MS Office, PDF Writer, and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of mechanical completion, project management, and FPSO systems
- Understanding of HSSE requirements and quality assurance processes.
