Job Title: Accounting Executive

Location: Subang Jaya, Setia Alam, Puchong, Sri Petaling, Kota Damansara, WFH

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Executive to handle the full set of accounts and ensure the smooth operation of our finance functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for issuing invoices, managing payment vouchers, initiating bank payments, performing bank reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, the role will involve preparing for and implementing e-invoicing when required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Full Set of Accounts Management

Maintain and manage the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial statements. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing.

2. Invoicing & Payment Processing

Issue invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.

Process supplier invoices, issue payment vouchers, and manage accounts payable.

Initiate bank payments and ensure timely disbursements.

3. Bank Reconciliation & Cash Flow Management

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for operational needs.

4. E-Invoicing Implementation & Compliance

Prepare for and ensure compliance with e-invoicing requirements when implemented.

Liaise with relevant authorities and software vendors for e-invoicing integration.

5. Financial Reporting & Compliance

Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for management review.

Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and other statutory requirements.

Support external auditors and tax consultants with required documentation.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in full set accounting.

Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount or equivalent).

Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and e-invoicing frameworks.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in handling e-invoicing implementation.

Familiarity with Malaysian financial regulations and tax laws.
