ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The SEO Senior Manager will work with Account teams, Creative teams, and Performance Marketing Specialists to drive not only daily account responsibilities associated with Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and Google Analytics, and using third-party SEO tools such as Yoast, SEMRush, and Screaming Frog, but important business outcomes for SearchGuru clients.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the SEO Director, the SEO Senior Manager will be responsible for determining and executing best in class SEO strategies, performing SEO audits and driving the implementation roadmap of on-page, technical & off-page optimisation to drive key business outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as a point of escalation for SEO strategies and insights across accounts.
- Collaborate & lead client's requests professionally.
- Able to customize a unique plan that caters to different conditions.
- Proactively collaborate with the Client Services department to re-prioritize as needed throughout the campaign based on clients' shifting needs and changes in business priorities.
- Identify how to best present data-driven reports and a compelling story that communicates our values to the client.
- Support and grow the cross-departmental team’s abilities.
- Monitor all project aspects and handle matters pertaining to resources, time and budget.
- Frequently evaluate project performance and provide timely updates to internal teams.
- Train SEO junior, senior, and managers to improve work quality.
- Envision the company’s vision and mission into action plans and align them to department goals.
- Become the go-to person for the team regarding all SEO questions, concerns and queries.
- Assist in Resource Planning internally and externally.
- Lead and validate the feasibility of the SEO strategies and presentation for pitches.
- Ability to present new ideas to internal and client stakeholders.
- Govern the department functions and help to push for growth aligned with internal KPIs.
ABOUT YOU
- At least 6 years of leadership, consultative, SEO execution experience in an agency or corporate setting.
- Proven track record of fixing SEO issues (e.g. Google penalty, hacked, multi-country, e-commerce, multilingual, technical and heavily complicated sites).
- Experienced in handling different clients and niches.
- Passionate in building long lasting client relationships across various industries and verticals.
- Strong analytical skills with a data driven approach.
- Ability to extract trends and insights from complex data sets.
- Ability to commute daily to Mid Valley Office (post-pandemic) and is effective and comfortable to support Work-From-Home mode.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
