Job purpose:

Successful candidates will be given exposure on the full cycle of Banking Operations specifically in Payment and Investigations and will be trained to be Junior Specialist in European Payments Banking Operations

Key activities:

  • Handling / process tasks for Banking Operations business, specifically with respect to Payment transactions and Investigations.
  • Assumes full responsibility for daily activities to ensure that transactions are processed timely, accurately, efficiently and within the prescribed authorized limit.
  • Responsible in the day-to-day operations – with an efficient and effective, to ensure that the productivity standards are duly met.
  • Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are observed, and efforts are aligned to meet the required expectation – deliver high quality services to our business partners, adherence to SLA and TAT, while maintaining process efficiency, accuracy standards, productivity levels, quality & control measures.
  • Support and assist the Team Head / Management in managing operational risk within the respective teams to avoid operational / reputational losses.
  • Follow and support the process relating to controls, productivity, and service enhancement.
  • Identify and escalate issues to Team Head or to the senior team member.
  • Well communicate with team members and work together as a team.
  • Supports Team Head and Head of Operations in all initiatives for the betterment of the organization.
  • Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time from Team Head / Head of Operations

Formal education:

University degree / diploma / tertiary education

Specialist knowledge (work experience, further qualification):

  • Proficient in English language – both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of another language would be an added advantage.
  • Analytical Skills
  • Minimum CGPA is 3.0 pointer
  • NOTE: Successful candidates will be employed on a 1-year contract directly under Commerz Global Service Solutions Sdn Bhd. Upon completion of the Corporate Trainee Program, permanent employment will be offered based on the overall performance evaluation throughout the 1-year program.

  • Proficient use of MS Office Suite.
  • Able to work at European time zones.
  • Flexibility to shift-work if required.
  • Willing to learn new things.
