Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Marketing Executive at K Fry in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for market planning, market research, communication, sales, and marketing activities to drive business growth and brand recognition.

  • Ensure brand and direction is adhered to at all times
  • Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including senior management, customers, colleagues, suppliers/vendors and partner organisations
  • Liaise and collaborate with operations and finance team to organize activities and promotions
  • Editing videos for social media and other marketing collaterals
  • Sourcing for advertising spaces (OOH channels, malls and other partners)
  • Sourcing of potential marketing or brand partners / collaborators and promotional tie-ups
  • Managing the production of all marketing materials, print, digital and merchandise - including all external vendors.
  • Writing and proofreading copy and designs
  • Organizing photo shoots
  • Arranging for distribution of marketing materials
  • Organizing marketing or brand related events / product launches
  • Monitor and report on social media engagement and feedback, social listening as required
  • Ideation and conceptualize creative ways for effective brand communications and revenue generation, engage customers via social media
  • Oversee day to day functions of apps and/or CRM
  • Data generation for report for post-campaign analysis
  • Undertake any additional tasks as directed by management or superiors.

Qualifications

  • Market Planning, Market Research, Communication skills
  • Sales and Marketing skills
  • Strategic thinking and analytical abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communication or any related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in marketing or related fields.
  • Experience in China overseas purchasing is considered an advantage.
  • Good communication and written skills (English and Malay). Proficient and fluent in Chinese Mandarin is a plus.
  • Passionate in food or had experience working in a food related organisation
  • Highly independent and resourceful
  • Ability to travel within the region when needed is also required for this role
