  • Develop OT programmed.
  • Conducting physical and psychological assessments of students and developing or following a treatment plan.
  • Plans, conducts, and evaluates physical therapy treatment/ intervention programs and activities.
  • Advising the effective activities to IEP teachers for daily practice for the students.
  • Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide students with the best treatment programmed available.
  • Coaching students with learning difficulties or poor social skills.
  • Helping children/patient in sensory integration issues, cognitive functions movement and coordination problem by using the structured play and fun activities in helping them developing their readiness to the school, organization of task and behavior skills, refinement of motor skills and educating them in self-care abilities; especially for the older children.
  • Perform evaluations, progress summaries, establish treatment plans with goals, provide treatment, maintain treatment notes as specified, delegate specific treatment and perform discharge activities according to the standard procedures.
  • Conferring with students, parents, head teachers and other relevant professionals involved in the students’ care to develop individual educational plans designed to promote students’ development.
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of a Diploma/ Degree in Occupational Therapy. (Fresh grad are welcome to apply)
  • Must have a compassionate and positive attitude, ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding OT's roles
  • Responsible and own position with these roles & be able to enthuse and inspire children
  • Ability to adapt/respond to different types of student characters
  • Team player, self-motivated and self-directed
  • Love to work with children
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Positive attitude, passionate on working with special needs students.
  • Patient and persistent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Critical observer-thinker, bringing fresh perspective and offer intuitive solutions and ideas.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in driving teamwork excellence, conflict resolution.
  • 5 days’ work in a week
