- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., Huawei, Aruba , Fortinet, Sangfor, load balancers).
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols and procedures.
- Provide technical support to end-users and other team members.
- Optimize network performance through monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems.
- Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
- Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation including network diagrams, inventory, and configurations.
- Managing servers, including server hardware and software. They handle tasks like server setup, configuration, maintenance, security, updates, backups, and ensuring server availability and performance.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, firewall configurations, VPN setups, and network security.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Several years of experience in network engineering roles, with a proven track record of designing and managing complex network infrastructures.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools
- Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and technologies is a plus.
- If available: CCNA, CCNP or a related field.
- Skills (can cover technical skills and soft skills)
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools
- Proficient in designing and deploying network architectures (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).
- Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
