We are partnering with a Switzerland based MNC that specializes in surface treatment, material processing and advanced engineering technologies. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Sales Engineer as part of their strategic growth.

Responsibility:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for both new and existing clients to present and promote advanced coating solutions through regular meetings, presentations, and engaging in both technical and commercial discussions.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with current clients, seeking opportunities for additional business, while also generating new sales by identifying new clients and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing innovative solutions to their challenges, offering support for any quality concerns, and turning obstacles into opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions in the CRM system, creating comprehensive visit reports and follow-up plans to enhance the success rate of projects in the pipeline.
  • Cultivate deep knowledge of the market and solution offerings, preparing and following up on quotations to drive successful business outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including local and global technical teams, operations, quality assurance, and sales teams, to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Structured and comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you will be able to uphold the position well.
  • Proven experience in project management and/or application sales, with a successful track record in customer-facing roles.
  • Valid Class D driving license and personal vehicle suitable for business travel.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a team-oriented, proactive, and positive approach to work.
  • A track record of sharing valuable insights within a sales team to foster collective success.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with a positive and solution-focused attitude when managing challenges.
