Responsibilities :
- Support chefs in cooking and plating dishes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, quantity temperature and presentation of each food served.
- Quick in food preparation and able to cope with fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ensure freshness of food ingredients and raw materials, keeping track of FIFO.
- Ensure minimum wastage in food preparation and washer duty.
- Maintaining the kitchen equipment / utensils at utmost cleanliness and hygiene.
Understand menu content and any promotional activities.
- Easy kitchen work includes dish washing, preparing buckwheat dough, making Donburi (rice bowl), and cooking tempura.
- Any other duties as and when being assigned by manager
- Assist in food preparation (cutting, chopping, basic cooking).
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow hygiene standards.
- Store ingredients properly and check stock level.
Requirements :
- Prefer who have EXPERIENCES ATLEAST 1 YRS IN THIS FIELD.
- Extensive knowledge of Japanese ingredients, techniques and cooking styles (e.g. sushi, sashimi, ramen, tempura, etc. )
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
