Responsibilities :

  • Support chefs in cooking and plating dishes.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, quantity temperature and presentation of each food served.
  • Quick in food preparation and able to cope with fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ensure freshness of food ingredients and raw materials, keeping track of FIFO.
  • Ensure minimum wastage in food preparation and washer duty.
  • Maintaining the kitchen equipment / utensils at utmost cleanliness and hygiene.

Understand menu content and any promotional activities.

  • Easy kitchen work includes dish washing, preparing buckwheat dough, making Donburi (rice bowl), and cooking tempura.
  • Any other duties as and when being assigned by manager
  • Assist in food preparation (cutting, chopping, basic cooking).
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow hygiene standards.
  • Store ingredients properly and check stock level.

Requirements :

  • Prefer who have EXPERIENCES ATLEAST 1 YRS IN THIS FIELD.
  • Extensive knowledge of Japanese ingredients, techniques and cooking styles (e.g. sushi, sashimi, ramen, tempura, etc. )
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
