JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare cash flow statements and monitor cash flow to ensure efficient fund management.
- Handle treasury administrative tasks, including bank account management, fund transfers, and payment processing.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, project cost reports, and management reports.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure proper cost allocation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with project teams to review budgets, update forecasts, and manage financial documentation.
- Support external audits and liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience; experience in the construction, engineering, or project-based industries is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP System or equivalent) and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong knowledge of project costing and budget tracking is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with tax and statutory compliance in Malaysia.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
