Responsibility:
- Fully responsible overall Account, Purchasing, Material Control/Inventory, Logistic, Human Resource and Administration department.
- Leading a group of account / buyer/ material control/ logistic and HR in meeting inventory target, cost saving, department KPI etc.
- Monitoring the company cash flow status, cash flow forecast and yearly budget;
- Financial analysis on the company’s borrowings, accounts payable, accounts receivable, income and expenditure.
- Budgetary control.
- Business analysis on the company’s business operation including management accounting and products study to maximize the company’s profits.
- Develop and directing business strategies and plans.
- Products costing and pricing.
- Business plans to obtain financing through careful negotiation and evaluation of the various sources of available financing facilities in order to match business needs;
- Advising on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions.
- Presenting the financials during the quarterly business reviews and director board meeting.
- Preparation of yearly P&L and Cash Flow Budget (report monthly on the act vs Budget variance analysis manage financial activities including, monthly or quarterly management accounts, presentation of financial statements, forecasting cash flows, management related reports, financial analysis and ad hoc reports).
- Prepare monthly forecast update, primarily by working closely with department heads in forecasting their department’s overheads.
- Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
- Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
- Ensure compliance on matters relating to audit, tax, and statutory requirements including liaising with auditors, tax agents, Customs, MIDA, Banker and other professional service provider.
- Directs determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets. Establishes, or recommends to management, major economic objectives and policies for company.
- Provides training, guidance, and direction to subordinates to ensure work is performed in an efficient, timely, and knowledgeable manner.
Competency Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years related working experience.
- Minimum Degree or any equivalence required.
- Good knowledge in accounting.
- Good Finance & account knowledge.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Have an analytical and innovative mind.
