QC TECHNICIAN (GR&R)
Key Responsibilities:
Measurement System Analysis (MSA):
- Conduct GR&R studies on various measurement tools and systems.
- Assist QC Engineer to analyse data to determine sources of variation in measurement processes.
- Assist QC Engineer by providing recommend corrective actions to improve measurement system accuracy.
Calibration and Maintenance:
- Ensure QC measuring equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
· Ensure all measurement process comply with company standards, ISO 9001 and ISO13485 requirements, applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Quality Assurance Support:
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve measurement system issues.
- Assist QC Engineer in providing training to team members on measurement techniques and standards.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Help QC Engineer to maintain accurate records of GR&R studies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings for management if required.
· He or She shall also assume any responsibilities that are assigned to him or her as and when the need arises
Process Improvement:
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Implement best practices for measurement system evaluation and usage.
Skills
· Proficient in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) is an advantage
· Competent to use Microsoft Office especially Excel (Words, Excel and etc)
· Understanding of statistical process control (SPC) is an advantage
· Understand quality management systems.
· Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant industry standards.
Qualifications:
· Diploma in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred)
· Associate degree or technical certification in engineering, metrology, or a related field (preferred).
· Experience with MSA and GR&R studies in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment or test department.
Working Condition
· Work is typically performed in a manufacturing environment.
· Regularly work in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
· May require standing for long periods and occasional lifting of light equipment.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
