Job Responsibilities

• Support superiors in maintaining accurate records of security operations, incidents and investigations.
• Help prepare detailed reports and updates on security-related matters.
• Assist in conducting through investigations into security breaches, incidents or suspicious activities.
• Gather evidence, interview witnesses and compile investigative reports under the guidance of superiors.
• Aid in the management and oversight of access control systems to ensure only authorized personnel can enter restricted areas.
• Help maintain access logs, conduct audits and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Support in monitoring and maintaining CCTV systems for suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Assist in reviewing footage and compiling video evidence as part of incident investigations.
• Collaborate with superiors and other departments to ensure security systems (alarm, sensors, etc.) are operational and effective.
• Assist in coordinating maintenance, upgrades and testing of security systems.
• Aid in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.
• Assist in conducting training sessions for staff on emergency protocols and evacuation procedures.
• Participate in security risk assessments to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Support in developing strategies to mitigate risks and enhance security measures.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and company policies.
• Help in reporting incidents, risk and updates to superiors and relevant stakeholders.
• Support efforts to identify areas for improvement in security procedures, systems and operations.
• Assist in implementing enhancements and participating in training and development programs.

Job Requirements

• SPM and Certificate.
• Previous experience in security.
• Basic knowledge of security protocols, surveillance systems and emergency response procedures.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
