Handles and manages operations and ensures that operational deliverables are met for all principals and service is always maintained at the highest levels at all times. To liaise with the principals and offer solutions to a myriad of operational challenges that comes through when handling difficult operational issues and situations. Oversee operational workflow from the agency nomination to DA finalisation to meet company KPI policy. Supervise team members to ensure NIL operational issues. Ensure smooth and timely operations on vessel clearance, stowage plan preparation according to owner/charterer requirement, terminal/port requirement and internal safety requirement. Respond promptly to queries/issues/disputes arising during the voyage, cooperating with concerned internal and external parties until they are resolved. Monitoring PDA finalisation within three days after vessel departure as per company KPI requirement. Ensure that emails/inquiries are attended/answered within one hour. Monitoring and ensure Simply5 system is always updated. • Port Log – vessel movement prior arrival/arrival in port/sailing • Crew details • Services & Tasks • Proforma • Daily verification • New call confirmation • PDA rejection Responsible for Boarding Officer duty roster. Work closely with CM and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.
