Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and driven Assistant Operations Manager to train and transition into an Operations Manager role in the Sports and Recreation. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club, driving business growth, improving member experience, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all club activities.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Operations & Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Padel club, ensuring smooth functioning of courts, bookings, and facilities.
  • Manage staff scheduling, performance, and training to maintain high service standards.
  • Ensure facility maintenance and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Monitor court bookings, refunds, and customer service inquiries efficiently.
  • Assist in setting up POS systems, back-end reporting, and inventory tracking.

2. Business Growth & Sales

  • Develop strategies to increase memberships, partnerships, and community engagement.
  • Manage and grow merchandise sales (rackets, shoes, apparel, grips, balls).
  • Drive corporate and private event bookings to generate additional revenue.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns.

3. Membership & Customer Relations

  • Ensure top-tier customer experience, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
  • Manage and grow membership tiers, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Implement loyalty programs, discounts, and special perks to enhance value for members.
  • Actively engage with the Padel community to strengthen relationships and drive referrals.

4. Event & Tournament Coordination

  • Oversee and facilitate tournaments, coaching clinics, and special events.
  • Coordinate with coaches, sponsors, and stakeholders to enhance event execution.
  • Ensure smooth event logistics, registrations, and on-ground execution.

Job Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in sports club management, hospitality, retail, or operations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in sales, business development, or customer service is a plus.
  • Passion for Padel, sports, or fitness industries is highly desirable.
